Located just 45 minutes drive from Havana on the way to Varadero, there is little to Jibacoa except its 2 relatively new beach resorts. For clients looking to avoid large resorts such as Varadero, or who perhaps want to combine Havana with a beach hotel but don't have the time or desire to include domestic flights in their holiday, then Jibacoa may be ideal.

Beaches

The beach at Jibacoa is partly man-made but excellent nonetheless. There is also good snorkelling just off the beach.

Excursions

Jibacoa is ideally placed for day trips to Havana as well as further afield to Pinar del Rio, Trinidad and beyond. Excursions can also be arranged to Varadero for golf etc.

Food

The only place to eat at Jibacoa is at either of the 2 hotels. Operating on an All Inclusive basis, the Breezes Jibacoa is only open to hotel guests.

Getting There

Jibacoa is 45 minutes drive from Havana. Private road transfers can be arranged to and from Havana airport and Havana city, Las Terrazas & Vinales to the west and Cienfuegos, Trinidad & Santa Clara to the south and east. It is not possible to drop one's hire car at Jibacoa so clients will need to return their car in Havana or Varadero and get a taxi to the resort.
