World Heritage Sites Holiday Ideas in Cuba Traveling 2017 and 2018 from VOYAGER TRAVEL

World Heritage Sites

There are seven Cultural and two natural UNESCO listed World Heritage sites in Cuba and if you have around three or so weeks to spare we can include all of them in a tailor made itinerary.

With a short seven night itinerary the Heritage towns of Havana, Cienfuegos and Trinidad can be included and a few days relaxation at one of Cuba’s beach resorts can be added with a 10 or 11 night itinerary.

From Havana the beautiful Vinales Valley is possible as a day trip but to truly enjoy this very scenic and rural part of Cuba a stay in one of the many Casa Particulars in the small town of Vinales for 2 or 3 nights is the best option.

The east of Cuba is rugged and heavily forested with high mountains and two of Cuba’s large National Parks both with UNESCO World Heritage status. Cuba’s second city of Santiago with its connections to the Cuban Revolution and the impressive fortress of San Pedro de la Roca can also be combined with Havana and the west of the island in one of our longer itineraries.

Camaguey – Cienfuegos - Old Havana - San Pedro de la Roca Santiago - Coffee Plantations of the South East - Trinidad and the Valley de los Ingenios - Vinales Valley - Humboldt National Park - Granma National Park
